The project is located in the district Grandes Residences of Lens on land in transition between a zup consisting of 9-level- small towers to the north and an area of suburban housing to the south.
The type of housing proposed is a response to this in-between situation: 9 terraced houses settled on the length of the plot and look like a transition between these two antagonist neighborhoods.
The street frontage, smooth and serene, reflects a beautiful urbanity facing the towers, the frontage with gardens are coming apart and interact with houses.
On the side of the Grandes residence, the project, opaque and unified by a wooden floor, houses and intimate loggias preserved from views of the towers. To the south side, it expresses individuality by a play of volumes which covering the wide bay of the living rooms.
The living room fully opens onto the garden. The rooms are illuminated by the loggia to the east, the north facade is opaque to the floor. The project is built on the one-meter-street-side elevation through a vegetal base in the foreground, it manages the limit between public and private.
